Go all out for a triplex

The prestigious triplex apartment redefines the way we move around our home. Is a vertically structured apartment your dream home ? Here are a few things you should know !

On the other side of the Atlantic, and particularly in Canada, a triplex apartment is seen as a very attractive rental investment for owners who live in one and let the remainder of their property. In France, a triplex is primarily seen as a luxury property either in central Paris or in the suburbs of Gentilly and Montreuil.

A triplex is defined as an apartment with three levels of accommodation. When the property is accessed from the lowest level, it is referred to as an ascending triplex, so conversely, when the entrance to the property is on the upper level, it is referred to as a descending triplex. This detail can change the room layout.Imagine a ground floor with a large entrance hall, a beautiful living room and a kitchen. A first floor structured around a landing that serves one or more bedrooms, and perhaps a shower room. And finally, a top floor with a master bedroom suite, dressing room, office, studio, etc.
Paris has a number of architect-renovated triplexes created in former hotels. Those occupying the top three floors will have panoramic views, or perhaps even a terrace.

If you choose such a property already equipped with premium features, living in your triplex will be very similar to living in a house.
