The dungeon

In the charming village of Liancourt-Saint-Pierre, on the site of the place called “Le Donjon”, stands a magnificent building which is a remnant of the former priory of Saint-Pierre. This construction redesigned many times, whose church was desecrated in 1791, crossed the ages to become a pleasant and relaxing place of life.

A small garden welcomes the visitor in the middle of rosebushes and hollyhocks, a door is emerging and invites you to enter this place witness of history.

In the entrance, the central staircase is the link between the two buildings: the church and the presbytery.

In a few flights of steps we go from one to the other without realizing it. On the right we access the living-dining room which opens onto the kitchen area. The whole is through, overlooking the terrace and the garden, and enjoys an ideal East-West exposure.

From the stairs, a few steps are enough to lead us to a first night area consisting of 3 bedrooms and a shower room. This is the first space in the old church.

A few extra steps, we return to the presbytery to arrive in a splendid library with a breathtaking view of the surrounding towns and villages. This library serves a room with its bathroom, as well as a charming second room.

The last steps allow us to reach the third level, a workshop of 70 sqm which is neither more nor less than the roof and the frame of the old Church.

From the terrace, we access a terraced garden of 1,930 sqm.
